BOC Clothing Qualities

Bamboo has numerous advantages which make it a perfect choice for sportswear garments; bamboo is naturally wicking due to its micro structural properties, this means it outperforms many of its synthetic peers such as polyester, which is used frequently by other sportswear manufacturers. Compared to cotton, it absorbs up to 4 times as much water and this allows it to evaporate away from the skin keeping you cool and dry. Bamboo also has antibacterial properties which the plant itself uses in nature to control disease through natural alkaloids. In practical terms, this means that you get much less skin irritation and rubbing from friction during vigorous activity, ideal for sportswear. Add to this the antifungal, hypoallergenic and antistatic properties and you have a near perfect fabric for use in sportswear. Top it all off, bamboo is softer than silk and feels amazing next to your skin and has been compared to fine cashmere. Bio fit products are all flat seamed for ultimate comfort.

BOC THERM

Bamboo is breathable, temperature regulating and although completely natural, behaves better than many synthetic fabrics. During exercise it keeps the skin cool and dry by moving sweat away from the skin, allowing it to evaporate naturally. In cold weather bamboo’s natural pores close providing a layer of protective warmth.

BOC CONTROL

As a natural fabric bamboo retains many of its natural properties. It protects the skin against infection due to its anti bacterial, anti fungal and anti viral properties. These vital properties prevent odours building up in the fabric -even after countless washes.

BOC SHIELD

Bamboo is a very soft fabric and is therefore very comfortable to wear. As well as being incredibly soft it is also hypoallergenic, so is great for people with sensitive skins. Its numerous properties make it ideal for outdoor sports, it is also 98% effective against harmful UV rays and won’t cling and rub due to being anti-static. Bamboo grows naturally without the aid of pesticides, insecticides, fertilizer, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) or any chemicals whatsoever.
